I am a clinical psychologist and have worked in a variety of roles in both the private and public sector. My work has allowed me to work with a variety of individuals who may have a clinical diagnosis such as a Mood Disorder, Anxiety, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder/Acute Stress Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Anorexia Nervosa or an Adjustment Disorder. I also have had the privilege of working with people who may have came to a stage in their life that they are unable to cope on their own despite their best efforts.
A special area of interest for me is working with military personnel, veterans and veterans families due to the unique challenges that these roles place on individuals.
I am passionate about providing warm and empathic support to clients using evidence-based techniques including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive-Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Interpersonal Psychotherapy.
