Victoria Barclay-Timmis

I am a nationally registered Clinical Psychologist. I completed the Master of Psychology (Clinical) at the University of Southern Queensland (USQ). I am currently studying for a Doctorate of Philosophy. I am a full member of the Australian Psychological Society. I am also a STAP trained supervisor.

I have practised psychology since 2011. Previously, I have worked at the USQ Psychology Clinic and the Department of Communities, including seven years in the field of Child Safety.

I work with a broad range of clientele from children to older adults, including people with intellectual disability and severe mental illness, affective disorders, personality disorders and developmental disorders. I have a special interest in working with adolescents, trauma, and perinatal mental health.

I provide a range of psychological therapies including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), interpersonal therapy (IPT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing therapy (EMDR).

I also have experience conducting psychological assessments including forensic, cognitive and neuropsychological assessment, psychosocial and behavioural assessments.
