This Plan is completed by a General Practitioner (GP) and provides access to Medicare rebates:<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><img><em><strong>Clinical Psychologist<\/strong><\/em><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">$237\u00a0      Standard consultation<br>$145.25\u00a0 Medicare Rebate\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<br>$ 91.95 \u00a0 Gap\u00a0<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em><strong>General Registered Psychologist<\/strong><\/em><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">$183\u00a0     Standard consultation<br>$ 98.95\u00a0 Medicare Rebate<br>$\u00a084.05  Gap\u00a0<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>Medicare will only pay rebates into a Savings or Cheque account. Therefore, in order for your rebate to be claimed, an EFTPOS card \/ Credit Debit card is required.<\/em><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em><strong>Mental Health Care Plan<\/strong><\/em><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#8211; You need first visit your GP and explain your mental health concerns to obtain a Mental Health Care Plan and subsequent referral to a psychologist. It is polite to book a longer consultation with your GP so that they have adequate time to develop a care plan with you.<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#8211; Please ensure your letter of referral and Mental Health Care Plan has been forwarded to Toowoomba Psychological Services prior to your first consultation with the psychologist.<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#8211; If a referral is made by a Psychiatrist or Paediatrician, a referral letter rather than a Mental Health Care Plan is required.<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#8211; Patients are required to return to the medical practitioner for a Review of their Mental Health Care Plan after they have accessed the allocated number of sessions.<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#8211; Further information can be obtained by visiting:&nbsp; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.health.gov.au\/internet\/main\/publishing.nsf\/Content\/mental-ba-fact-pat\">http:\/\/www.health.gov.au\/internet\/main\/publishing.nsf\/Content\/mental-ba-fact-pat<\/a><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">&#8211; The client is responsible for paying any charges in excess of the Medicare benefit for items under this initiative.
